about
ABOUT:
A catchy, folk-rock bop reminiscent of Jack Johnson at his upbeat best, 'Miss Behavin’ was written after Callan’s dream girl unexpectedly turned up on his doorstep all the way from the UK; effectively rekindling a flame that first sparked 5 years earlier.
Now, with the help of legendary producer Tim Carr (Matt Corby - ‘Brother’), 'Miss Behavin’ has been brought to life and it marks chapter 7 of a mostly-true tale Callan is telling via the one-song-per-month release of his 9-track mixtape, ‘L89’ (Latey Nine).

LYRICS:
Baby, this tune has been used before
But that don’t mean that what I say means any less, in fact, more
There’s a few things I want to say
Before you pack your bags and leave
Because despite the fact you’re going away
You should know it’ll all be ok
‘Cause I will think about you every day
Oh oh oh
About the cheeky and the naughty things we do
And all the misbehavin’
It’s your body I’m cravin’
When you get home I’ll be waitin’
Oh, it’s your body I’m cravin’
Yeah, well I know that it's been a while
So take it easy, call me cheesy but you still make me smile
I thought you were gone for good
I really blew it and I knew it wasn't likely but I hoped that you would
Find the courage that I never could
To do the thing my tummy told me I should
Oh oh oh
Well it’s a fact I want you back; another crack
At all your misbehavin’
Thanks for comin’ and savin’
Our story outta the grave
Thanks for comin' and savin'
I sing ooh oh woohoo, ooh ooh ooh oh ooh ooh
I sing ooh oh woohoo, ooh ooh ooh oh ooh ooh
Five years went past so fast and then I heard a knock at my door
To my surprise her eyes were there and starin' into my core
I could not speak, my knees went weak, I nearly fell to the floor na na na na na
There stood my girl. My rock. My world. How could I ever want more?
I feel the same as before
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Maybe then someday we’ll meet again
I say goodbye but somehow I know that this is not the end
The feeling, it burns inside
And so before I let you go I gotta tell you that you can’t run nor hide
‘Cause I won’t stop till you’re here by my side
Oh, girl, my love for you’s the galaxy wide
No no no
‘Cause it’s the cheeky and the naughty things we do
That got me misbehavin’
It’s your body I’m cravin’
Oh, when you get home I’ll be waitin'
Oh, ‘cause it’s your body I crave
